RCREEE co-organizes meetMED workshop on Energy Efficiency in Buildings

18 June 2019- Tunisia:  Hosted by the National Agency for Energy Management (ANME), RCREEE in cooperation with Agency for Energy (ADENE) French Environment & Energy Management Agency and Lebanese Energy Management and Environment Association organized meetMED workshop on Energy Efficiency in Buildings.

The one-day workshop allowed meetMED national expert to present the main national measures implementation achievement/s and challenge/s regarding energy efficiency in buildings at the national level. Besides, the workshop welcomed external experts to elaborate upon behavioral changes, finance and capacity building key challenges. The workshop concluded with a roundtable discussion with main points and policy recommendations followed by the launching ceremony of the Tunisian Alliance for Buildings and Construction «TABC».

The workshop outcomes contribute much to meetMED report on Energy Efficiency in Buildings, which is currently being drafted tackling meetMED countries (namely Algeria, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Portugal, Spain and Tunisia).
