Workshop on Energy Efficiency Indicators Project

October 6-7, 2011, RCREEE organized a workshop on “Energy Efficiency indicators” project in  Plan Bleu premises  in Sophia Antipolis (France).

The objective of this project is to implement a set of indicators to be used for monitoring and assessment of the energy efficiency policies in the 10 RCREEE member states namely: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen.

Thirty members of the working group participated in this workshop, including the national experts from Plan Bleu and the focal points of RCREEE, Mrs. Amel Bida the project leader from RCREEE, Mr. Ferdinand Costes Plan Bleu representative, as well as Mrs. Florentine Visser MED-ENEC project representative. The project is undertaken with the technical coordination of Alcor (represented by Mr. Rafik Missaoui and Mr. Hassen Ben Hassine).
The program of the workshop dealt with:

  • Finalization of the data collection
  • Validation of the first results
  • Assistance to experts for national report drafting
  • Presentation of preliminary benchmark
