“Super ESCOs”

The session aims to introduce participants to the concept of a Super ESCO and showcase experiences from existing Super ESCOs in the region.
A Super energy service company (ESCO) or Super ESCO is an entity that is setup to function as an ESCO to support the public sector implement energy efficiency projects. Super ESCOs can be very effective for the upscaling of EE services and the promotion of ESCOs while providing capacity building and support project development and can help to overcome market entrance barriers.
