RCREEE hosts and participates in "Harmonized continental regulatory framework for the electricity sector in Africa” project
Within the framework of Agenda 2063 of the African Union, RCREEE participated in a workshop entitled” Harmonized continental regulatory framework for the electricity sector in Africa". It was held on 01 - 03 June at Praia, Cape Verde.
The event aimed to finalize and validate a strategy report on the development of a legal harmonized continental regulatory framework for the electricity sector in Africa. Moreover, the report will be revised in Cairo as one of the flagship projects of the Agenda 2063 of the African Union.
In addition, RCREEE will be hosting the 4th workshop of this flagship project in September. The workshop will aim to strengthen the dialogue between the African Union Commission and regional and continental stakeholders.
This project is a collaboration between the African Union Commission and European Union Technical Assistance Facility for the Sustainable Energy for all.
