Online Workshop "Highlights on Resources Efficiency in Industrial MSMEs in Egypt”
Under Affordable Resources for Egypt’s Industrial Growth (RIndustry) project, RCREEE in collaboration with the British University in Egypt (BUE) are organizing an online awareness Workshop revealing the main result of RIndustry’s recent survey on energy management and saving in Egypt targeting MSMEs operating in agro-foods and resource-intensive industries.
The workshop is scheduled to take place on January 31, 2021 at 9:45 AM – 12:00 PM Cairo local Time (check your local time).
Under RIndustry activities, RCREEE has recently launched a survey targeting agro-food and resource-intensive industrial sectors in Egypt in attempt to identify their current energy saving opportunities & challenges. The workshop will shed the light upon the survey’s main results as well as the main policies, regulatory frameworks, technologies and knowledge elements that can be employed to enhance energy management practices for the targeted stakeholders.

About Affordable Resources for Egypt’s Industrial Growth (RIndustry) Project
Rindustry Project, an EU funded project, aims to change the culture of resource utilization in Egypt’s industry for enhanced economics and competition. The project tackles energy production, water rationalization and water desalination, and energy efficiency as the main pillars to achieve its goal while utilizing research & development (R&D) along with innovative and sustainable solutions.
RIndsutry project is implemented by The British University in Egypt (BUE) in collaboration with the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA), Central Metallurgical Research and Development Institute (CMRDI), and ISIS for Food Industries.
