RCREEE and UNDP organize a tailored workshop on “50 MW Solar/Wind Document Contracting in Syria”

The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency and United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Syria co-organized a tailored capacity building workshop on “50 MW Solar/Wind Document Contracting in Syria” on 9-11 January 2022 in Cairo, Egypt.

The workshop aims to discuss the developed contracting documents for 50 MW solar and 50MW wind projects as a member state support from RCREEE to Syria. The workshop also discussed regional experiences and knowledge exchange of the best practices.

This workshop comes within RCREEE and UNDP efforts to support the Ministry of Electricity in Syria and the National Energy Research Center (NERC) in designing tender documents for 50 MW PV and 50 MW wind power plants in accordance with national context and including all legal, technical, administrative, and financial aspects.
