Position: Project Assistant

Reports to: Team Leader and Deputy Team Leader

Location: Cairo, Egypt

Contract: The selected candidate will start in May 10, 2015 on a renewable 6 months contract based on performance

The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency is an independent not-for-profit regional organization which aims to enable and increase the adoption of renewable energy and energy efficiency practices in the Arab region. RCREEE teams with regional governments and international organizations to initiate and lead clean energy policy dialogues, strategies, technologies and capacity development in order to increase Arab States’ share of tomorrow’s energy. Duties and Responsibilities

The position entails, but is not limited to, performance of the duties as specified by the Team Leader and EgyptSEFF management from time to time. The job description comprises tasks shall include without being limited to:

• Collect Time Sheets form the team
• Arrange transport logistics for client and stakeholders visits
• Perform administration, office assistance role such as room booking administration, control office supplies and services in coordination with RCREEE, support foreign and local consultants with hotel reservations, VISA requirements, etc..
• Building contact data-bases
• Data collection (from any relevant sources: the Internet, periodicals, electronic databases, etc.) relevant to EgyptSEFF objectives
• Provide support to EgyptSEFF coordination activities (sourcing contacts, organising meetings, confirming attendance, following up on pending information, etc.) as required
• Provide support in the production of information or communication materials (reports, presentations, etc.)
• Organization and coordination of marketing events in close cooperation with EgyptSEFF marketing team
• Accompanying the Team Leader or other members of EgyptSEFF staff to meetings, presentations or interviews as required
• Provide occasional logistical support (fetching or delivering documents, taking care of travelling arrangement, etc.)

Requirements and Competencies

Required

• Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline
• Good communication skills
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate to client requirements
• Working knowledge of Office applications
• Responsible person able to work with little supervision

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT:

• Completion of assigned tasks within the required timeframe
• 360º degree performance feedback from team colleagues and supervisors
