RCREEE joins technical visit on monitoring programs of soaring and migratory birds in Gulf of Suez
April 12, 2022The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) welcomed H.E Ambassador Shahira Wahba, Head of Natural Resources Sustainability and International Partnerships in the League of Arab States, Dr. Hammou El Amrani, Senior Expert of Water, Energy, Food Security and Climate Change Association in the Economic Sector of the League of Arab States, and Dr. Nisreen Laham, Coordinator of the Regional Project “Safe Use of Wastewater in the Middle East and North Africa” at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI).
During the meeting with Dr. Jauad El Kharraz, RCREEE Executive Director, Dr. Maged Mahmoud, RCREEE Technical Director, and Eng. Ashraf Kraidy, Planning and Technical Projects Director, the two parties discussed regional cooperation in areas related to water-energy-food nexus, non-conventional water resources, renewable energy, energy efficiency and the preparations for COP 27 to be held in Egypt.
