Farah Kaireh Maydal

With OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) co-finance, Farah joined APSEY tenth round. With Agriculture & Environmental Engineering background, Farah had a leading role in Daleel project mining data for Somalia, Djibouti and Maghreb countries.

Besides, he supported RCREEE team developing Djibouti first National Renewable Energy Action Plan.

After his internship, Farah joined the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources in Djibouti.

About APSEY program, Farah says:

“I have learnt the mechanism of preparing renewable energy profiles during my time in APSEY.  Now, I feel I have a clear picture of potential RE investments in my country and how I can help amend or lay especial regulation to encourage RE investments.”
