Strengthening Syrian Females Capacity for Economic Sustainability (SFS)
The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) in cooperation with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) are providing four-weeks women empowering training to females from Syria during the period from 20 February to 17 March in Syria. The training will support 40 females in two rounds aiming to empowerment them economically in the energy sector.
This training is dedicated to solar PV and solar powered pumping systems capacity building with a practical knowledge on business entrepreneurship and incubation, project management and risk mitigation with focused discussions and brainstorming on considerations for the local Syrian context.
RCREEE and UNDP launched the “Syrian Females Capacity for Economic Sustainability (SFS)” Program on 18 November 2021. The program is designed to support more women to pursue STEM disciplines and providing support via capacity building, knowledge sharing and skills development.
Through this program, the participants will be enabled to develop sound, comprehensive and convincing business plans in addition to developing the skills and confidence to advance in their careers as leaders and entrepreneurs in the energy sector
