Panel discussion at COP29: Green Financing for Sustainable Energy Projects in the Arab Region
As part of the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency’s participation in the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29), the Technical Director and Acting as Executive Director of the Center, Dr. Maged Mahmoud, has moderated a panel discussion entitled “Green Financing for Sustainable Energy Projects in the Arab Region”.
The session, organized by the Center in collaboration with the League of Arab States (LAS), has discussed the impact of green financing on increasing investments in sustainable energy projects in the Arab region, the role of green financing in driving growth, and how green financing for sustainable energy projects contributes to achieving the strategic goals of Arab countries.
