RCREEE and FES co-organize Green Hydrogen Training Course
Aiming to strengthen Arab countries capacities and raise regional awareness on Hydrogen technologies, opportunities and applications, the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) and the Regional Climate and Energy Project MENA, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) are organizing a Green Hydrogen training course on 14 – 16 November 2021.
The training provides attendees with an understanding of green hydrogen technologies and its socio-economic feasibility and competences as well as the role of green hydrogen within the energy transition and how it complements renewable energy.
In addition, the training includes discussions on regional green hydrogen opportunities and means to stimulate demand for green hydrogen.
In the opening remarks, Ms. Sarah Hepp, Director of Regional Climate and Energy Project MENA, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), Dr. Jauad El-Kharraz, RCREEE Executive Director, and Eng. Rim Boukhchina, RCREEE Senior Sustainable Energy Expert welcomed the training attendees from Algeria, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Palestine, Sudan, Yemen.
