RCREEE presents prospects of green hydrogen in the Arab Region
Achieving a 7% reduction in greenhouse gases by 2030 is among Algeria’s National Determined Contributions (NDC). In addition, Algeria National Renewable Energy Action Plan aims for the deployment of 15,000 MW by 2035.
In this context, Le Centre de Recherche en Technologie des Semi-conducteurs pour l’Energétique (CRTSE) in cooperation with the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB) and Sonatrach are organizing an event on Green hydrogen and its potential for reducing greenhouse gases (GHGs) on November 15, 2021 at Algiers, Algeria.
RCREEE Executive Director, Dr. Jauad El Kharraz is among the event speakers and will be presenting the prospects of green hydrogen in the Arab Region.
The event brings together renewable energy professionals, decision-makers, national and international experts, researchers, and institutions to discuss solutions for new technologies and experiences within three critical themes: Electrolysis technologies, water resources for the production of hydrogen, and renewable energy.
