UNDP and RCREEE cooperate to strengthen Syrian Females Capacity for Economic Sustainability (SFS)
The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) are joining forces to launch “Syrian Females Capacity for Economic Sustainability (SFS)” Program.
The Program aims to support more women to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines and provides support via capacity building, knowledge sharing and skills development. Through this program, 44 Syrian female experts will be able to develop sound and comprehensive business plans. In addition to developing the skills and confidence to advance in their careers as leaders and entrepreneurs in the energy sector.
The signing ceremony took place online on 18 November 2021 with the presence of UNDP Deputy Resident Representative, Mr. Giordano Segneri and RCREEE Executive Director Dr. Jauad El Kharraz.
