RCREEE and The International Renewable Energy Certificates Standard Foundation  (I-REC Standard) : a step towards Facilitating standardized REC schemes in MENA and Arab region 

The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) and The International Renewable Energy Certificates Standard Foundation (I-REC Standard) have signed this Thursday, 18th May 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding aiming at developing the engagement of the RCREEE Member States to adopt, issue and participate in the renewable certificates market.

The International REC Standard Foundation (I-REC Standard) is a non-profit organization that provides a robust standard for developing attribute tracking systems. It’s acknowledged by major reporting frameworks as a reliable backbone for credible and auditable tracking instruments.
