Cool Up هو برنامج يعمل على تطوير وتعزيز التبريد المستدام في مصر والأردن ولبنان وتركيا.
يعمل البرنامج على ثلاثة محاور مهمة، “السياسة والتنظيم”، “التكنولوجيا والأسواق”، و”نماذج التمويل والأعمال”، لرفع تحدي التبريد في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، فبخصوص الدول الأعضاء في المركز الإقليمي للطاقة المتجددة وكفاءة الطاقة، يواصل البرنامج في مصر، العمل مع وزارة البيئة المصرية كشريك سياسي لإحداث تغيير محفز في قطاع التبريد وتكييف الهواء وفي الأردن، يعمل على تقليل الطلب على التبريد في قطاعي التبريد وتكييف الهواء وإدخال تقنيات فعالة في استخدام الطاقة باستعمال المبردات الطبيعية، بينما في لبنان، يدعم البرنامج البلاد في تنفيذ تعديل كيغالي من خلال دعم السياسات ذات الصلة وتطوير التكنولوجيا والمالية والبحوث والمنتجات، ونشر برامج بناء القدرات.
الآن، وبهدف تقييم المقاربة والاستجابة بشكل أفضل لاحتياجات مختلف الأطراف المعنية، يحرص فريق العمل على جمع الأفكار حول أهمية البرنامج، وفعاليته، وتأثيره، واستدامته. وإذ نقدر مدخلاتك، سواء كنت على دراية بالبرنامج أم لا، فإننا ندعوك لرفع تحدي التبريد، عبر قضاء بضع دقائق من وقتك للمساهمة معنا في الجهد العالمي لتسهيل الانتقال إلى التبريد المستدام.

يعد برنامج Cool Up جزءًا من مبادرة المناخ الدولية (IKI)، التي تعمل على رفع مستوى التبريد المستدام وتعزيز تنفيذ تعديل كيغالي. وهو يجمع عشر منظمات خبراء دولية وإقليمية ووطنية. المركز الإقليمي للطاقة المتجددة وكفاءة الطاقة (RCREEE) هو جزء من هذا التحالف الذي تقوده مؤسسة Guidehouse
Cool Up is a programme that promotes sustainable cooling in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Türkiye.
The programme works on three important themes, “Policy and regulation”, “Technology and markets”, “Finance and business models”, to tackle the cooling challenge in the MENA region.
Regarding the RCREEE member states countries, in Egypt, Cool Up is continuing to work with the Egyptian Ministry for the Environment as a political partner to create catalytic change in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector.
In Jordan, the Cool Up programme is working to reduce cooling demand in the refrigeration and air conditioning sectors and introduce energy efficient technologies using natural refrigerants, while in Lebanon, Cool Up supports the country in implementing the Kigali Amendment by developing relevant policies, developing technology and financial research and products, and deploying capacity building programmes.
Now, with the aim of refining the adopted approach and better respond to the need of different stakeholders, Cool Up team is keen on gathering insights about the relevance, the effectiveness, the impact, and the sustainability of the programme.

The Cool Up Programme is part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI), working to upscale sustainable cooling and promoting the implementation of the Kigali Amendment. It brings together ten international, regional, and national expert organisations. RCREEE is a part of this consortium led by Guidehouse.
