RCREEE’s participation during the 56th session of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) which takes place from 6 to 16 June 2022, in Bonn, Germany

During the 2^nd Day of the #BonnClimateConference, RCREEE’s delegation is being a part of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (#IPCC) Working Group II (#WGII), the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) which assesses the impacts of climate change, looking at ecosystems, biodiversity, and human communities at global and regional levels. #COP27

Governments are meeting for the first time since the conclusion of the UN Climate Change Conference #COP26 in Glasgow last November, at which the operational details of the Paris Agreement were finalized, thereby ringing in the era of implementation of the agreement.
However, currently In Bonn, governments are focusing on work in the key areas of mitigation, adaptation, support to developing countries – particularly finance – and loss and damage.
