Monday, 27th March 2023 – Berlin, Germany

On the sidelines of the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue #BETD23, the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency #RCREEE, and PtX Hub International concluded joint strategic partnership toward unlocking the #greenhydrogen and #PtX potentials in the Arab region and creating a solid framework for the emerging Power-to-X markets.

The signing ceremony was held in margin of the pre #BETD23 side event on “Empowering Partner Countries through Power-to-X – Joint Pathways towards a Sustainable Future” during which RCREEE presented the Arab region perspectives’ on the southern-northern cooperation models that would translate the green hydrogen impetus into concrete economy, with the aim of decarbonizing the hard-to-abate sectors and enabling considerable energy transition milestones.

#RCREEE and @PtX_Hub_International collaboration will be mainly targeting in its first phase the conception of planning guidelines adapted to the national energy context of the Arab countries, in addition to the organization of a train-of-the-trainers program dedicated to the future PtX trainers, who will be actively involved in building the Arab workforces capacities across the entire PtX value chain in the region.
