The consultation mission on 29 May 2025, Casablanca, Morocco.

The first visit to The Moroccan Association of Refrigeration Professionals (AMPF), which is a central organization in Morocco’s cooling sector, actively promoting sustainable practices and innovation. They collaborate with Smart Expos & Events Morocco to organize the Refrigair Expo, a significant international exhibition for the industry. AMPF supports the development of Morocco’s National Cooling Action Plan (NCAP), which aims to meet growing cooling demands sustainably by focusing on energy efficiency, climate-friendly refrigerants, and passive cooling. AMPF’s engagement spans diverse sectors, including construction and transport, and it drives progress on training, regulation, and deployment of energy-efficient technologies and natural refrigerants.
The second visit was to Ventec, through its Moroccan subsidiary Ventec Maroc, which has played a significant role in Morocco’s cooling sector since 1949. Initially focused on industrial fans and ventilation, they became the exclusive representative of Carrier air conditioning in Morocco in 1960. Ventec Maroc has since grown into a group of six companies employing 1500 people, including engineers and managers, demonstrating a strong presence in the HVAC sector. Their expertise extends beyond traditional AC to improving vapor compression systems and integrating evaporative cooling.
Finally, the third visit was to FROIDEL, which is a leading Moroccan company with over 44 years of experience in refrigeration and air conditioning, offering tailored solutions for sectors like agriculture, distribution, pharmaceuticals, and hospitality. They are known for their expertise in developing innovative and energy-efficient solutions, particularly in decarbonization, and are the exclusive representative of major international brands while also manufacturing their brand, Masterkit Réfrigération.
