With OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) co-finance, Omar joined APSEY 8th round. With Mechanical Engineering background, Omar supported many of RCREEE projects mainly the National Energy Efficiency Action Plans (NEEAP) and National Energy Renewable Energy Action Plans (NREAP).

After his internship, Omar pursued his master's degree at TU-Berlin Campus in El-Gouna. He recently obtained his master’s degree in Business Engineering – Energy.
