Recovery of Electricity Services in Yemen

RCREEE was commissioned by the World bank in 2018 to conduct an assessment of opportunities for recovery and reconstruction of the electricity sector in Yemen in order to provide reliable and affordable electricity access to businesses, households and public service facilities in Yemen.

Under this project, RCREEE has conducted the following:

• An evaluation of the status of electricity access in Yemen;
• Identification and analysis of solutions to improve access to electricity services;
• An identification of opportunities and proposition of potentially feasible private sector service delivery; and
• A final workshop with relevant stakeholders to preset the outcomes of the study
