November 18, 2021Under EU co-financed project, Taka Nadifa, RCREEE joined the kick-off coordination meeting between national institutions, technical and financial partners of Algeria in energy efficiency and renewable energy on 14 November 2021.
The meeting presented for the first time in Algeria, a proposal for a coordination mechanism between the national institutions and the international technical and financial partners (PTF) of Algeria active in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency. Attendees discussed means to organize bilateral cooperation and dialogues to mobilize greater technical and financial assistance for the development of the RE / EE sectors.
The event gathered experts from national and international institutions including Ministry of Energy and Mines, Ministry of Energy Transition and Renewable Energies, Agence Nationale pour la Promotion et la Rationalisation de l’Utilisation de l’Énergie (APRUE), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, International Energy Agency (IEA), International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), European Investment Bank (EIB), World Bank, and UN-ESCWA.
