Atif Mussa Osman Suliman

With OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) co-finance, Atif joined APSEY fourth round. With Mechanical Engineering background, Atif supported a number of RCREEE projects mainly developing Sudanese Sustainable Energy network.

During his internship, Atif designed an application to enable the user to calculate the potential savings from using Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in terms of Lighting and Solar Water Heaters. After his internship, he registered the application at the Sudanese Council for Protection of copyright and related rights.

Today, Atif is working as solar energy projects engineer at Sunshine engineering co.ltd.

About APSEY program, Atif says:

“During my internship I gained experience in how to make economic feasibility studies. I learnt a lot about renewable energy policies and regulations in the region which helped me a lot plan for my future”
