With OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) co-finance, Mazen joined APSEY seventh round. With environmental management & engineering background, Mazen supported many of RCREEE projects, mainly the reconstruction of Yemen’s electricity sector.
Today, Mazen is a master’s student at TU DELFT university.
About APSEY program, Mazen says:
“I found myself surrounded by intelligent hardworking professionals in a wide range of specialization such as economy, renewable energy and energy efficiency. It was 6 months of continuous learning and hands on experience through workshops, conferences and projects. I gained enormous amount of knowledge so that by the end of my internship I was able to assess the potential of RE in Yemen especially PV sector.”
